The block of land bounded by the sea beach from the Hangatahua river to the Kaikara river, thence by the last-named river to rural allotment numbered 104 on the plan of the Okato district, thence by the southern boundaries of rural allotments numbered 104, 107, 106, 105 and 99, to the Hangatahua river, and thence by the last-named river to the sea beach aforesaid.

ROADS AND BRIDGES.
NOTICE
Appointing a Rate for No. 16 District.

New Plymouth, April 18, 1866.
WHEREAS by the 13th clause of the “Roads and Bridges Ordinance, 1858,” it is provided that the minimum rate to be imposed in any rural district shall not be less than 6d. per acre.
WHEREAS by the 49th clause of the said Ordinance power is given to the Superintendent with the approval of the Provincial Council by notice to be published in the Government Gazette, to alter the minimum rate or rates to be imposed in one or more districts.
Now therefore I, Henry Robert Richmond, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Taranaki, do hereby with the approval of the Provincial Council alter the rate imposed on the undernentioned district:—

NOTICE
Altering the month for a General Meeting and appointing a General Meeting for No. 16 District.

New Plymouth, April 18, 1866.
WHEREAS by the 44th clause of the “Roads and Bridges Ordinance, 1858,” it is provided that a general meeting of the electors for each district shall be convened in the month of May in every year on such day and at such place as shall be appointed by the Superintendent.
And whereas by the 49th clause of the said Ordinance power is given to the Superintendent with the approval of the Provincial Council by notice to be published in the Government Gazette, to alter the month in which general meetings of the electors for each district shall be held.
Now therefore I, Henry Robert Richmond, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Taranaki, do hereby with the approval of the Provincial Council alter the month for the holding of general meetings of the electors for the undernentioned district from the month of May to the month of April, and I hereby appoint that a general meeting shall be held in this present month of April, as follows:—
16th District
At the Okato Blockhouse, on Saturday, the 28th day of April, at 12 o’clock.
