NOTICE
(From the New Zealand Gazette.)
Appointed times for payment of the Road Rates for the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, and 11th Districts.
Superintendent’s Office,
New Plymouth, January 17, 1866.
In exercise of the powers vested in me by “The Roads and Bridges Ordinance, 1858,” I hereby appoint that the rates imposed under the provisions of the said Ordinance on all lands within the Districts hereunder specified shall be paid at the Provincial Treasury, Mount Eliot, as follows, viz.:
For the First District, on February 1, 1866,

" Sixth " March 1, "
" Seventh " February 1, "
" Eighth " June 1, "
" Ninth " March 1, "

“THE FREEMASONS’ HALL COMPANY (LIMITED).”
The objects of which are “the erection of a Freemasons’ Hall in New Plymouth, and purchase of land for the purpose.”
And that, in pursuance of the provisions of “The Joint Stock Companies Act, 1860,” I have issued a Certificate of Incorporation of the said Company, bearing date the eighth day of December, one thousand eight hundred and sixty-five.
