ROADS AND BRIDGES.
Notice altering the Minimum Rates, and the month for which General Meetings, and appointing General Meetings of the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 7th, 8th, 9th, and 10th Districts.

WHEREAS by the 49th clause of the “Roads and Bridges Ordinance, 1858,” power is given to the Superintendent, with the approval of the Provincial Council, by notice to be published in the Government Gazette, to alter the minimum rate to be imposed in any District, and to alter the month in which General Meetings of the Electors for each District shall be held:
Now, therefore, I, Henry Robert Richmond, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Taranaki, do hereby, with the approval of the Provincial Council, appoint that the minimum rate to be imposed in the First, Second, Third, Fourth, Fifth, Seventh, and Ninth Districts shall be Four Pence per acre, and in the Eighth and Tenth Districts Two Pence per acre, and I hereby alter the month for the holding of General Meetings of the Electors for the undermentioned Districts from the month of November, 1866, to December, 1866, and I hereby appoint that such General Meetings shall be held as follows:—
1st District.
At the Bell Block Inn, on Monday, the 10th day of December next, at 4 p.m.
2nd District.
At the Taranaki Institute, on Saturday, the 8th day of December next, at 8 p.m.
3rd District.
At the Taranaki Institute, on Saturday, the 8th day of December next, at 3 p.m.
4th District.
At the Taranaki Institute, on Saturday, the 8th day of December next, at 3 p.m.
5th District.
At the Taranaki Institute, on Saturday, the 15th day of December next, at 3 p.m.
7th District.
At the Taranaki Institute, on Monday, the 10th day of December next, at 3 p.m.
8th District.
At the Taranaki Institute, on Saturday, the 15th day of December next, at 8 p.m.
9th District.
At the Omata Inn, on Tuesday, the 11th day of December next, at 3 p.m.
10th District.
At the Taranaki Institute, on Saturday, the 15th day of December next, at 3 p.m.
