NOTICE

Under the "Branding of Cattle Ordinance, 1865," revoking previous notice in so far as it relates to No. 4 District, and constituting other Districts.

Superintendent’s Office,
New Plymouth, October 13, 1865.

In exercise of the authority vested in the Superintendent by an Ordinance of the Superintendent and Provincial Council of Taranaki, intituled “The Branding of Cattle Ordinance, 1865,” I, Henry Robert Richmond, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Taranaki, do hereby revoke the notice constituting districts under the said Ordinance, dated 31st August, 1865, and published in the Government Gazette No. 22, 4th September, 1865, in so far as it relates to the district therein described as No. 4 District, and I hereby constitute the following districts in lieu thereof, for the purposes of the said Ordinance.

No. 4 District.
The block of land bounded towards the north by the sea, towards the east and south by No. 3 District, towards the west by Frankley Road to the point at which it intersects the Paritutu Line, and thence by the Paritutu Line to the sea.

No. 5 District.
The block of land bounded towards the north by the sea, towards the east by No. 3 District and No. 4 District, towards the south by No. 3 District, and towards the west by the western boundary of the Omata Block.

“Branding of Cattle Ordinance.”

Superintendent’s Office,
New Plymouth, October 13, 1865.

In exercise of the authority vested in the Superintendent by an Ordinance of the Superintendent and Provincial Council of Taranaki intituled the “Branding of Cattle Ordinance, 1865,” I, Henry Robert Richmond, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Taranaki, do hereby convene a GENERAL MEETING of the ELECTORS of No. 3 District, under the said Ordinance, to be held at the TARANAKI INSTITUTE in Brougham-street, Town of New Plymouth, on SATURDAY, the fourteenth day of October, at four o’clock p.m., for the purpose of appointing Commissioners.
