PROCLAMATION
By CHARLES BROWN, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Taranaki.
In exercise of the power vested in me by the Constitution Act, I, Charles Brown, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Taranaki, do hereby proclaim and appoint that the 13th Session of the Provincial Council of the said Province of Taranaki shall commence and be holden at the Council Chamber, Mount Eliot, in the Town of New Plymouth in the said Province, on TUESDAY, the 4th day of April, at 6 P.M.
Given under my hand at New Plymouth, this twenty-fourth day of March, 1865.

It is notified for general information that the writs for the election of two members of the Provincial Council for the Grey and Bell district in the room of W. Tatton and H. A. Atkinson resigned having been issued in accordance with the provisions of βAn Act to grant a Representative Constitution to the Colony of New Zealand,β this Returning Officer for the said district has returned the said writs with certificates to the effect that
Robert Pheney, and
Arthur Samuel Atkinson,
have been duly elected to serve as members of the Provincial Council for the Grey and Bell district.
