TENDER FOR MASONS’ AND CARPENTERS’ WORK.
Superintendent’s Office,
New Plymouth, 24th March, 1865.
TENDERS are invited for the Masons’ and Carpenters’ work required in building a new Stone Front and other works at the Warehouse on the beach, according to a plan and specification to be seen at this office.
The Tenders to be delivered not later than noon on SATURDAY, the first day of April.

To THOMAS BECKHAM, Esq., by virtue of a Com-
mission under the hand of Sir
George Grey, Knight Commander of the
most Honorable Order of the Bath, Go-
vernor and Commander-in-Chief of the
Colony of New Zealand and its Dependencies, dated at Government House, Wel-
ington, in the said Colony, the fourth day
of March, 1865, Do hereby give notice
that a Court is opened at Graham’s
Buildings, Waterloo Quadrant, Auckland,
for the purpose of investigating all claims
for Compensation in respect of losses
sustained by the Rebellion within the
Province of Auckland since the eleventh
day of July, 1863; and also in respect
of certain other losses occasioned by rebel
natives to persons who were wrecked in
the steamer “Lord Worsley,” on the Ta-
panaki coast in 1862.
Claimants are required to deliver to the
Commissioner a detailed account of their
losses with as little delay as possible.
