TENDERS FOR EARTHWORK.

TENDERS will be received at the Survey Office until noon of MONDAY, the 29th inst., for cutting and removing EARTH from the undermentioned portions of the Omata new road.

Contract No. 1.—The unfinished portion of the cutting in the hill adjoining the house occupied by Mr. P. Priske, containing 2438 cubic yards more or less.

Contract No. 2.—The unfinished portion of the hill immediately westward of No. 1, containing 1562 cubic yards more or less.

Contract No. 3.—The unfinished portion of the hill in front of the Mission house gate, containing 470 cubic yards more or less.

Contract No. 4.—The hill between the Mission Station and the Bayly road containing 3048 cubic yards more or less.

The earth to be removed and placed in a workmanlike manner under the direction of the Engineering Surveyor.

Plans and sections elucidating the above named work and other particulars may be obtained on application at the Survey Office.

Tenders to be left at the Survey Office and addressed "Tenders for removing Earth," No. 1, 2, 3 or 4 as may be.

TENDERS FOR CARTAGE.

TENDERS will be received at the Survey Office until noon of MONDAY the 29th inst., for the cartage of 500 yards of STONE, more or less, from the beach to certain places adjoining the Omata new road, between Weymouth-street and the Cutfield road.

The Stone to be placed in heaps convenient for measurement and the time to be stated in the Tender for the completion of the contract.

Tenders to be left at the Survey Office and addressed "Tenders for Carting Stones."

PERSONS employed at day labor on the Public Works, directly, or indirectly through a Contractor, will be allowed after the end of this month, and till further notice, the money value of the day or days they have been hitherto allowed to attend to the lands they have been driven from.

THE list of rations and other allowances now granted, will be revised for the next quarter, those persons who have any grounds to urge for the continuance of the allowances they have hitherto drawn are recommended to state them to the Commissioners appointed to hear them.

TENDERS FOR STONE-BREAKING.

TENDERS will be received at the Survey Office until noon of MONDAY, the 29th inst., from persons willing to Contract for Breaking Stones on or near that portion of the Omata new road between Weymouth-street and the Belt road.

The stones to be broken small enough to pass through a ring 2¼ inches in diameter and to be placed in heaps convenient for measurement.

The quantity tendered for to be specified, and the time when it is proposed to complete the contract to be named.

Tenders to be left at the Survey Office and addressed "Tenders for Stone-breaking."
