IT is hereby notified that Writs issued for the election of Members of the Provincial Council for the Province of Taranaki, have been returned with certificates to the effect that,—

For the District of Grey and Bell,—
James Thomas Upjohn,
William King Hulke,
Harry Albert Atkinson,
William Northcroft,
William Bayly,
James Crowe Richmond,
William Tatton,

have been duly elected.

THE following Ordinance, passed by the Superintendent and Provincial Council of Taranaki, intituled,—

"An Ordinance to facilitate and regulate the application of charitable and other funds obtained for the relief of sufferers from the war,"

having been laid before the Governor, His Excellency has been pleased to leave the same to its operation.
