THE Superintendent has appointed
WILLIAM BYERS SEALY, M.D.
to be Coroner for the Province of New
Plymouth, vice Peter Wilson, Esquire,
resigned.

SOME uncertainty existing on the part
of Landowners as to the width of Road
in districts which have been sold by the
Government at the fixed price of ten shil-
lings per acre, it is hereby notified for ge-
neral information that a Road of the clear
width of one chain (66 feet) is in such cases
reserved for Public use.

Corps and other residents of Taranaki
to whom rifles and other arms were issued
by the Provincial Government are desired
to deliver them, together with all accoutre-
ments and appointments belonging to the
same, to the charge of the Sergeant of the
Armed Police.
