HUA VILLAGE.
THE following extract from the 26th clause of the Land Regulations of the Province is published for general information.
"26—All sales shall take place at the Crown Lands Office in the Town of New Plymouth, and shall commence at the hour of Eleven A.M. and close not later than the hour of Three P.M."
Maps of the "Hua Village Site" can be obtained at the Survey Office, price sixpence each.

TOWN DISTRICT.
NOTICE TO RATEPAYERS
IN exercise of the power in me vested for this purpose by the Ordinance of the Province, Session 2, No. 9, intituled "An Ordinance to provide for the maintenance of Public Works within the Province of New Plymouth"—I hereby appoint that the first instalment of one half of the amount of the Rate of Ten Shillings imposed under the authority of the said Ordinance, on every Hundred Pounds of the value of the lands rateable (exclusively of all buildings erections and improvements whatsoever) by the General Meeting for the district of the Town of New Plymouth convened and held by adjournment for the purposes of the said Ordinance on the 30th day of May last, shall be due and payable to the Provincial Treasurer at his office in the Town of New Plymouth on Monday the 29th day of September instant. And the second and last instalment of one half of the amount of the said rate shall be due and payable to the said Treasurer at his said office on Wednesday the 29th day of October next.
