6th October, 1856.

I HEREBY notify that the Rural Land below specified situate in the Hua Block, being part of the lands commonly known, as the Hua Village Site shall be open for purchase on the first day of December next and on such subsequent periodical days as are appointed for the sale of Rural Land by the General Land Regulations of the Province.

This notice is published with the approval of the Provincial Council.

PUBLIC WORKS ORDINANCE.

TOWN DISTRICT.

WHEREAS a rate imposed by virtue of an Ordinance of the Superintendent and Provincial Council of the Province of New Plymouth passed in the 2nd session of the said Council intituled \"An Ordinance to provide for the maintenance of Public Works within the Province of New Plymouth\" on the undermentioned Sections in the Town of New Plymouth on the 17th day of February 1855 is now in arrear for the space of six months and upwards, Notice is hereby given that the same Sections respectively will be sold to defray the arrears of such rate due in respect thereof respectively on the fifteenth day of December 1856 pursuant to the provisions in that behalf of the said Ordinance.
