NEW LINES OF ROAD.

NOTICE is hereby given that new lines of road as below specified and delineated on the Government Map kept at the Crown Lands' Office are open for Public use, viz.β€”

First. A line of road through Sections Nos. 22, 31, 30, 44, and 43, Fitzroy District and through Sections Nos. 57, 70, 69, 482, 483, and 495, Grey District.

Secondly. A branch line from the above through Section No. 42, Fitzroy District, and through Sections Nos. 56, 68, and 67 Grey District.

Thirdly. A branch line from the Carrington Road through Sections Nos. 60, 61, 74, 73 and 72 Grey District.

Fourthly. A line of road through Sections Nos. 48 Fitzroy District and through Sections Nos. 62, 63, 76, 76B, 76A, 768, 769, 770, 771, and 772 Grey District.

Fifthly. A branch line from the last through Section No. 62, Grey District to join the Carrington Road.

All the above mentioned roads are forty feet in width.

COMPENSATION to the owners and occupiers whose lands are taken for the new lines of road specified in the Notice of his Honor the Superintendent, dated the 3rd instant, will be settled in the mode prescribed by the New Zealand Company's Land Claimants Ordinance Session XI, No. 15.

NEW LINES OF ROAD.

NOTICE is hereby given that for the convenience of occupiers on the lines of the Roads opened for Public use under Notice dated 1st October, 1855, gates across the several lines may be maintained until the 31st day of March next, and during such further period as may be recommended by the Commissioners of Public Works for the several districts.

WAIWAKAIHO FERRY.

I HEREBY notify that I have appointed HOANI TE ATA to be Ferry-keeper at the Waiwakaiho Ferry in place of Wiremu te Ahoaho.
