BUSH LINES OF ROAD.
NOTICE.
PERSONS falling the Timber in any line of road after the 30th day of November next, are hereby warned that where any cart track has been opened along such line of road, previous to that date—such cart track must be kept open. Persons disregarding this notice will be proceeded against under the Municipal Police Ordinance.

APPLICATIONS will be received at this office from persons desirous of introducing Immigrants under the system of "assisted passages"—as provided for in the second part of the "Regulations for the expenditure of money applicable to the promotion of Immigration from Great Britain" published in the "Provincial Gazette" of the 11th August.
In granting nominations for assisted passages, the Provincial Government will, so far as possible, be guided by priority of application, all applications made before the 18th of September next being considered as simultaneous. Between parties appearing equally eligible for nomination, the Provincial Government will, if necessary, decide by Ballot.

SIR,—Referring to your letter of the 28th August 1854 informing me that His Excellency the Officer Administering the Government requests that Notices of recently acquired lands being open for sale are in future to be issued by me, I have the honor to enclose two Notices drawn out by the Commissioner of Crown Lands, that I have signed and issued in the Gazette of the Province.
