TOWN DISTRICT.
NOTICE TO RATEPAYERS.
IN exercise of the power in me vested for this purpose by the Ordinance of the Province, Session 2, No. 9, intituled "An Ordinance to provide for the maintenance of Public Works within the Province of New Plymouth"—I hereby appoint that the first instalment of one half of the amount of the Rate of Five Shillings imposed under the authority of the said Ordinance on every undivided Town Section and upon every separate Tenement into which a Town Section may for the time being be divided, by the General Meeting for the District of the Town of New Plymouth, convened and held for the purposes of the said Ordinance on the 24th day of February last, shall be due and payable to the Provincial Treasurer at his Office in the Town of New Plymouth on Monday the 6th day of August next. And the second and last instalment of one half of the amount of the said Rate shall be due and payable to the said Treasurer at his said Office on Monday the 3rd day of September next.
