AN ORDINANCE

TO APPROPRIATE MONEY TO THE PUBLIC SERVICE FOR THE

PROVINCE OF NEW PLYMOUTH.

AN ORDINANCE to appropriate money to the Public Service for the Province of New Plymouth.

Whereas by two Ordinances enacted by the Superintendent and Provincial Council of the Province of New Plymouth in this present session of the said Council, Numbers 1 (one) and 3 (three), provision was made for defraying the charge of the Provincial Government of the said Province for the Quarter commencing on the 1st day of October, 1853, and ending on the 31st day of December in the same year, and for the Quarter commencing on the 1st day of January, 1854, and ending on the 31st day of March in the same year : And whereas it is expedient to make provision for defraying the charge of the Provincial Government of the said Province for the period of six calendar months commencing on the 1st day of April, 1854 : And whereas the Superintendent of the said Province has recommended to the Provincial Council thereof to make provision for the specific services to which money is hereinafter appropriated,
