IT is hereby notified that the portions of Ground specified as below, have been temporarily reserved under Clause XVI. of the “Southland Waste Land Act, 1865.”

FERRY AND QUARRY RESERVE.
On Run, No. 165—Reserve of 250 Acres at the Gorge, opposite Mr. Aitken’s House, on the Waiau.
QUARRY RESERVE.
On Run, No. 156-2A.—Reserve of 160 Acres, fronting the Orawia River, to include the Braida Crags.
TOWNSHIP RESERVE.
On Run, No. 395.—Reserve of 500 Acres at Paihi Point, exclusive of the Maori Reserve.

THE following shall be deemed Frontage Lines, for the purpose of Selection under Clause XXX. of the “Southland Waste Land Act, 1865”:
All Surveyed or projected roads in the Province of Southland.
All Main Tracks in the Province of Southland.
All Reserves in the Province of Southland.
All Harbors or Estuaries in the Province of Southland.
All the Coast Line in the Province of Southland.
All Navigable Rivers or Creeks in the Province of Southland.
All Main Rivers in the Province of Southland.
All Creeks or Streams that may be deemed by the Chief Surveyor sufficiently large to constitute a Frontage Line in the Province of Southland.
