PROCLAMATION

By JAMES A. R. MENZIES, Esq.,
Superintendent of the Province of Southland.

WHEREAS by an Act of the General Assembly of New Zealand, entitled the "Vaccination Act, 1863," it is provided that within three months after the passing of the said Act, the Superintendent of each Province in New Zealand shall divide such Province, or such part of such Province, as he shall think fit, into convenient districts, for the purpose of affording increased facilities for Vaccination;

Now therefore I, the said Superintendent, in pursuance of the powers vested in me in this behalf do hereby proclaim and declare that the Province of Southland and shall be divided into four districts, for the purposes of the said Vaccination Act, 1863, and the names and boundaries of the said districts shall be as follows, that is to say:

The Campbelltown Vaccination Districtβ€”
Bounded on the South and West by the Ocean and the Estuary of the New River; on the North by a right line drawn east from the mouth of the Mokoto Stream to the River Mataura; on the East by the Mataura.

The Invercargill Vaccination Districtβ€”
Bounded on the South by the Campbelltown Vaccination District; on the South-west and North-west by the Ocean, by a straight line from the mouth of Waimatuku River to the junction of the rivers Makarewa and Oreti; thence by the river Makarewa to the junction of the
