PROCLAMATION.

Superintendent of the Province of Southland.
In pursuance of the provisions of the "Provincial Reserved Bills Act, 1858," section 2, I hereby notify that the following Ordinance passed by the Provincial Legislature of the Province of Southland, namelyβ
"The Appropriation Ordinance, No. 4, 1864,"
having been laid before His Excellency the Governor, His Excellency has assented to the same.
Given under my hand, this twentieth day of October, one thousand eight hundred and sixty-four.

To all whom these Presents shall come, greeting:
WHEREAS, by an Act of the General Assembly, intituled "The Regulation of Elections Act, 1858," it is enacted that it shall be lawful for the Governor, by Warrant under his hand, from time to time, to appoint Polling Places for each Electoral District, within or without the limits thereof, and to appoint any one of such places to be the
