THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE

  1. Cases of accident or emergency are admissible at all times.

  2. Patients of all denominations can be visited by their respective clergy, daily, between the hours of 2 o’clock and 4 o’clock p.m. In cases of real emergency clergymen are admissible at all times.

  3. Visitors are permitted to see their friends in Hospital on Mondays and Thursdays, between the hours of 2 o’clock and 4 o’clock p.m.

  4. No articles of diet, intoxicating liquors, clothing, or the like, are to be introduced into the Hospital by the friends of patients or others, without the express sanction of the Medical Staff.

Appointment of Crown Solicitors.

THOMAS MORELL MACDONALD, Esq., of Invercargill in the Province of Southland, to be Crown Solicitors within the said Provinces for the conduct of Prosecutions under the Regulations of the 23rd day of February, 1864.

THE following Notice to Mariners respecting alteration in Jetty Lights, Geelong, is republished for general information.

WILLIAM FOX.

Alteration in Jetty Lights, Geelong.

On and after the evening of the 15th day of August, the two lights now exhibited on the old steamboat jetty will be discontinued, and four new gas lamps be lit on the Moorabool-street Wharf; the outer lamp of which will be colored red towards the bay.
