PROCLAMATION.

Superintendent of the Province of Southland.

In pursuance of the provisions of the "Provincial Reserved Bills Act, 1858," Section 2, I hereby notify, that the following Ordinance passed by the Provincial Legislature of the Province of Southland, namely—the "Appropriation Ordinance, No. 1, 1864," having been laid before His Excellency the Governor, His Excellency has assented to the same.

Given under my hand, this thirteenth day of September, one thousand eight hundred and sixty-four.

In pursuance of the power in me vested in that behalf, I hereby appoint the Stockyard, now in the occupation of Mr. William Hopcroft, at Gummy’s Bush, in the Jacob’s River Hundred, to be a Public Pound, and I further appoint the said Mr. William Hopcroft, to be the poundkeeper of the same, and I further give notice that the poundkeeper at Gummy’s Bush, is authorised to charge Pound Fees, and sustenance charges according to the scale hereunto annexed.
