NOTICE.
INVERCARGILL JETTY.
IN virtue of the powers vested in me by the Ordinance enacted by the Superintendent and Provincial Council of Otago, entitled the "Jetty and Wharves Ordinance, 1858," I hereby authorise the Jetty Keeper at Invercargill to levy the following Tolls, Dues, and Wharfages, for the use of the said Jetty, namely:

Those Dues shall be leviable on and after the 1st day of September, 1861.
Goods not removed from the Jetty in three days after being placed thereon, shall be removed therefrom by the Jetty Keeper at the expense of the Owner.
All Goods landed or embarked within One Mile of the said Jetty shall be subject to the Dues above enumerated.

to be Turnkey of the Gaol at Invercargill, and to act as Constable when required.

IT is hereby notified that any person who has applied for a Publican’s License within the Province of Southland shall have such License issued to him on depositing in this Office his Certificate from the Justices, granted at the last Annual Licensing Meeting held in Invercargill.

IT is hereby notified that I have granted an exemption from pilotage dues, under the conditions of clauses 10 and 12 of the Harbour Regulations, as published in the New Zealand Gazette of 22nd February 1861, to the s.s. "Pirate," so long as she continues under the command of Captain THOMAS ROBERTSON.
