TIME EXTENDED.

TENDERS will be received at the office of the Secretary for Works, Dunedin, until noon of Thursday, 12th October, 1876, for the Erection of a Police Station at Clinton.

Plans and specifications may be seen, and forms of tender obtained, at the Office of the Inspector of Buildings, Dunedin, and School-house, Clinton, on and after Monday, 16th of October, 1876.

The Government does not undertake to accept the lowest or any tender.

WAIPORI ROAD BOARD.

TENDERS are invited for keeping in repair, for six months (surface work only), the Main District Roads in the Maungatua Subdivision.

Tenders to be addressed to the Chairman Waipori Road Board, Post Office, Lake Waipori, up to noon on Saturday, 4th November.

The successful tenderer will be required to lodge deposit.

The lowest or any tender not necessarily accepted.

NORTH EAST VALLEY ROAD DISTRICT.

TENDERS are invited to form 24 chains, more or less, from No. 2 Road, Sawyers Bay. The works will be shown on Tuesday, the 10th October, at 11 a.m. Tenders to be left at North East Valley School-house, on or before the 14th October, at 2 p.m., having enclosed 5 per cent. on amount of tender. The lowest tender or any not necessarily accepted.

NOTICE TO THE RATEPAYERS IN THE PORTOBELLO ROAD DISTRICT.

A GENERAL RATE of One Shilling in the Pound on the full net annual value on all rateable property within the district will be made on Saturday, the 7th of October proximo, for the year ending June the 30th, 1877. Statement of proposed rate to be seen at my residence.
