TENDERS will be received at the Office of the Secretary for Works, Dunedin, until noon of Thursday, 12th October, 1876, for the Erection of a Police Station at Clinton.
Plans and specifications may be seen, and forms of tender obtained, at the Office of the Inspector of Buildings, Dunedin, and School-house, Clinton, on and after Monday, 9th of October, 1876.
The Government does not undertake to accept the lowest or any tender.

NORTH EAST VALLEY ROAD DISTRICT.
TENDERS are invited to form 24 chains, more or less, from No. 2 Road, Sawyers Bay. The works will be shown on Tuesday, the 10th October, at 11 a.m. Tenders to be left at North East Valley School-house, on or before the 14th October, at 2 p.m., having enclosed 5 per cent. on amount of tender. The lowest tender or any not necessarily accepted.

BLUESKIN ROAD BOARD.
TENDERS are invited by the Blueskin Road Board for the following works :—
1st.—Building Culvert in Harbour Terrace, Mansford Township. Mr. Lean will meet Contractors on the ground at 12 noon on Friday, October 13th.
2nd.—Widening about 14 chains of the Purakanui Road; clearing slips and falling about 3 chains bush. Mr. Andrews will be at Mr. Horn’s at 10 a.m. on Monday, October 9th, and shew the work and specifications.
3rd.—About 20 chains Formation on Mopanui road. Contractors meeting at Mr. McKessar’s at 12 noon, on October 9th, will be shewn the work.
4th.—Repairing road from Mr. H. Clark’s and forming about 12 chains of same. Contractors to meet at Mr. Clark’s at 2 p.m. on October 9th.
5th.—Formation on the Round Hill Road and construction of Footbridge over the Waitati River. Contractors meeting at the Round Hill at 2 p.m. on October 11th will be shewn the work.
6th.—Works on road to Double Hill. Mr. Martin will meet contractors at foot of Mr. Dodd’s road at 12 noon on Friday, October 13th, and shew the work.
Tenders for the above to be lodged at the Board’s Office by noon on Monday, October 16th.

NOTICE.
THE South Molyneux Road Board intend, at their meeting to be held on Thursday, 26th October, to levy a General Rate of 1s. in the £ on the full net annual value of all rateable property within the district, for the year ending June, 1877; also a Special Rate of 6d. in the £, in the Ahuriri and Port Molyneux Subdivisions and 3d. in the £ in the Catlan River and Puera Subdivisions.
A statement of the proposed rate lies for inspection by ratepayers at the Board’s Office.

SEASIDE ROAD BOARD intend at their Meeting on the 24th October, 1876, to Levy a General Rate of One Shilling in the Pound on the Net Annual Value of Property within the District for the year ending 30th June, 1877.
The Rate Book may be seen at the Brighton Post Office.

KAIKORAI ROAD DISTRICT.
RATEPAYERS are hereby notified that the Kaikorai Road Board made, at their last meeting on August 29th, a General Rate of One Shilling in the Pound in both subdivisions for the year ending June 30th, 1877.
Objections, if any, must be made in writing and lodged with the Clerk on or before Saturday, September 30th, at noon, when the Board will meet to determine such objections.

NOTICE TO THE RATEPAYERS OF THE TAIERI ROAD BOARD.
THE Taieri Road Board, at their Meeting on Saturday the 2nd of September, 1876, resolved to make Road Rates payable for the years 1876-77 as follows, viz. :—
Owhiro Subdivision—Sixpence per pound sterling (6d. per £).
Breadbane Subdivision—Sixpence per pound sterling (6d. per £).
East Taieri Subdivision—One shilling per pound sterling (1s. per £).
The Rate-book, with the several valuations of all properties in the district, can be seen at my office during the month of September, 1876, where all objections must be lodged not later than the 2nd day of October, 1876, and all such objections will be heard at a meeting of the Board on Saturday, the 7th day of October, 1876, at 3 o’clock p.m., in the Athenaeum, Riccarton, East Taieri, when all objectors must appear personally, otherwise the objection shall not be entertained, and all objections shall be determined.
