Tenth Schedule.

District of Mount Ida.

To the District Land Officer at Naseby,--

I hereby give notice that I intend to construct a Dam for irrigation and domestic purposes at a point in the left hand branch of Home Gully, immediately above Mr. Alexander Craig’s residence area.

The mean depth and breadth of such Dam is six feet by fifty-feet, and it is capable of containing 60,000 gallons of water or thereabouts.

Any person objecting to the issue of a license to the above-named applicant must lodge his objection in writing at my office within fourteen clear days from the date hereof; and the day fixed for hearing and deciding the application, if unopposed, and notifying objections, if any, is August 10th, at 4 p.m.

TENDERS

TENDERS will be received at the Office of the Secretary for Works until noon of Tuesday, 29th August, for Contract No. 1128, Formation and Gravelling of Approaches to Bridge over Molyneux at Roxburgh; also Approaches to Ford Teviot Stream.

Plans and specifications may be seen and forms of tender obtained at the Office of the Provincial Engineer, Dunedin, and at Police Station, Roxburgh. Tenders to be endorsed “Tender for Contract No. 1128.” The Government does not undertake to accept the lowest or any tender.

Plans and specifications may be seen and forms of tender obtained at the Office of the Provincial Engineer, Dunedin, and at Police Station, Balclutha. Tenders to be endorsed “Tender for Contract No. 1129.” The Government does not undertake to accept the lowest or any tender.

Messrs. Lean and Swanston will meet contractors at the School-house at 4 p.m. on Monday, August 14th, and show the work.

Tenders to be lodged at the Board’s Office by noon of August 16th.
