NOTICE is hereby given that the following applications for licenses to occupy land on deferred payments have been received at this office:—

And Tuesday, the 22nd day of August, 1876, at 11 o’clock a.m., and the Land Office, Lawrence, are appointed the time and place for deciding these applications if unopposed, and for notifying any objections that may be lodged.

Two o’clock of the same day and the same place are appointed for deciding by auction the right to license to occupy any section for which there is more than one applicant.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Waste Lands Board has annulled the licenses and declared unoccupied sections 59, block VII, Waipahee; 4, block XI, Waipahee; 14, block I, Chatton; 15, block IX, Waikaka; 16, block IX, Waikaka; 6, block X, Waikaka districts, the conditions required in terms of sections 52B and 56 of the Otago Waste Land Act, 1872, not being fulfilled, and have ordered that such sections should be again advertised open for application. RE-OPENED FOR APPLICATION ON WEDNESDAY, 30th AUGUST, 1876.

NOTICE is hereby given that the under-mentioned sections will be open for application on deferred payments on Wednesday, the 30th August, 1876. Application must be made by the applicant in person at any Land Office in the Province, and a deposit of 1s. 6d. per acre paid at the time of making the application, being the first half-year’s occupation fee. The purchase-money is payable at the rate of 3s. per acre per annum for ten years.
