Land Occupation Notices




NOTICE is hereby given that the following applications for licences to occupy land on deferred payments have been received at this office:—

Thomas Mayor and William Jarvis Cross, for section 8, block 5, Greenvale district.

Jeremiah Robertson, section 30, block II, Tuapeka West.

And Tuesday, the 2nd day of August, 1876, at 11 o’clock a.m., and the Land Office, Lawrence, are appointed the time and place for deciding these applications if unopposed, and for notifying any objections that may be lodged.

Two o’clock of the same day and the same place are appointed for deciding by auction the right to license to occupy any section for which there is more than one applicant.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Agricultural Leases issued in favour of H. K. Hodge, for Sections 58, Block XV and Section 26, Block XVI, Shotover District, have been cancelled by the Government, and the land is now open for occupation under the Agricultural Lease Regulations.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Waste Land Board has annulled the license, and declared unoccupied Sections 8 and 10, that such Sections should again be advertised; Block II, Chatton District, in terms of the 52nd and 56 Sections of the “Waste Lands Act, 1872” and further ordered as open for application.

CHATTON DISTRICT.
(About 5 miles from Gore.)

WEDNESDAY, 2nd AUGUST, 1876.

NOTICE is hereby given that the under-mentioned Sections will be open for application on deferred payment on Wednesday, the 2nd day of August, 1876. Application must be made by applicant, in person, at any Land Office in the Province, and a deposit of 5s. 6d. per acre paid at the time of making the application, being the first half-year’s occupation fee. The purchase money is payable at the rate of 3s. per acre per annum for ten years.

Plans to be seen, and lithographs obtained, at the Land Offices, Dunedin and Invercargill.

ROXBURGH TOWNSHIP.

WEDNESDAY, 2nd AUGUST, 1876.

NOTICE is hereby given that Section 2, block XIX, Roxburgh Township, containing 3 roods 3 poles, will be offered for sale by public auction at the Land Office, Dunedin, on Wednesday, the 2nd August next at noon, at the upset price of £15.
