NEVIS FOOT BRIDGE.
TENDERS will be received at the Office of the Secretary for Works until noon of Monday, 21st August for Contract No. 1121.
Construction of Foot Bridge over the Nevis at Spence.
Plans and specifications may be seen, and forms of tender obtained, at the Office of the Provincial Engineer, Dunedin, and at the District Engineer’s Office, Cromwell.
Tenders to be endorsed “Tenders for Contract No. 1121.”
The Government does not undertake to accept the lowest or any tender.

TENDERS are invited by the Blueskin Road Board for the Formation of about 20 Chains of the Middle District Road, Lower Harbour.
Messrs. Lean and Swanston will meet contractors at the School-house at 2 p.m. on Monday, August 14th, and show the work.
Tenders to be lodged at the Board’s Office by noon of August 16th.

NORTH EAST VALLEY ROAD BOARD.
TENDERS are invited for the following works:—
No. 1.—To Spall or Quarry and Break 200 yards of 3-inch Road Metal of the Best Blue-stone, at per yard, on Pine Hill, at section 2 and 4, block XI.
No. 2.—To form 16ft-wide Road No. 5, and part No. 6, Opoho, and supply, break, and spread 120 yards 2½-inch Metal of the best Blue-stone; also 2½-inch Metal for the Branch Road, at foot of Pine Hill.
No. 3.—To supply, break, and spread 400 yards or any greater quantity of 2½ Road Metal of the best Blue-stone and other Repairs for Woodhaugh Road, at per yard.
Tenders left at North East Valley School-house, on or before the 29th July, at 2 p.m., having enclosed 5 per cent. on the amount of tender. The Board not bound to accept the lowest or any tender. Specifications for the above at Cattle Market Hotel, North East Valley.

TENDERS Wanted, alternate, for Arched Culvert, with earth fitting, at Ross’s Creek, near Rankine’s, on Sheriff’s Road, in above district, or Bridge with stone walls and timber for same creek.
Tenders to be sent separately, with 10 per cent. deposit on same, to the undersigned on or before Thursday, August 3, at 4 p.m.
Plan and specification at School-house, Waikari.
No tender necessarily accepted.
Also Tender for 40yds. 2½in. Metal for Kedgley’s Road. Same conditions.
