NOTICE
NOTICE is hereby given that the Ratepayers in the Road District of North East Valley, including the several townships, viz:—Ravensbourne, Rothesay, Killarney, Hastings, St. Leonards, Roseneath, Woodhaugh, Opoho, Calton, Duddingstone, Maybank, Normandy: that on Saturday, the 1st July, 1876, the Board intend making a General Rate of One Shilling in the Pound, for the year ending June 1877.
The Rate Roll can be inspected at Mr. Thomas Brown’s, North East Valley, for ten days from the 20th June.

PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the Nomination of Candidates for the Office of Mayor, for the year ending 1st August, 1877, will be declared on Monday, the 17th day of July instant, at the Town Hall, Currie street, at 12 o’clock noon.
Nominations in form of Schedule D, of the “Otago Municipal Corporations Ordinance, 1865,” can be lodged at the Town Clerk’s office, Currie street (where blank forms can be obtained), on or before noon of the day herein fixed for the declaration.
