PORTOBELLO CEMETERY.

His HONOR THE SUPERINTENDENT directs it to be notified that he has appointed

Mr. George McCartney

to be a Manager of the above cemetery vice John Wishart deceased.

MOUNT IDA WATER SUPPLY.

TENDERS will be received at the Office of the Secretary for Works until noon of Tuesday, 23rd May, for Contract No. 16: Construction of 8 Chains of Head Race near Eweburn.

Plans and specifications may be seen, and forms of tender obtained at the office of the Provincial Engineer, Dunedin, and at the Police Camp, Naseby.

Tenders to be endorsed "Tender for Contract No. 16."

The Government does not undertake to accept the lowest or any tender.

WAIKOUAITI ROAD BOARD.

TENDERS wanted for the Formation of Road in Beaconsfield.

Plans and specifications to be seen at Mr. James Pouller’s house.

Mr. Pouller will point out the work.

Tenders to be in by 12 noon on 17th May, and to be addressed to the Chairman, Merton Post Office.

The Board is not bound to accept the lowest or any tender.

HALF-WAY BUSH DISTRICT ROAD BOARD.

TENDERS, accompanied by 10 per cent. deposit, will be received by the undersigned up to Thursday, May 11, 1876, for the following Works, viz.:

  1. 300 cube yards 2½ in. metal.
  2. 50 " " 3 " ", Repairs to Water-of-Leith Road from Black Bridge, near Anderson’s mill, to the Town Belt.

Specifications at School House, Waikari.

No tender necessarily accepted.

NORTH EAST VALLEY ROAD DISTRICT.

TENDERS are invited for 300 yards 2½-inch Road Metal for No. 5 Road Pine Hill, and other repairs.

Also for Contract No. 17—Formation, Bridge and Culvert on section 19, N.E.V., and part section 10, block X.

The plans and specifications are at the Cattle Market Hotel. Tenders to be accompanied with 5 per cent. on the amount of tender, and left at N.E.V. School House on or before the 6th day of May, at 2 p.m.

The lowest or any tender not necessarily accepted.
