LEASE OF TOLLS.

SATURDAY, 29TH APRIL, 1876.

THE Lease of the Waikari Toll Gate for the term commencing on the 1st May, 1876, and ending on the 31st March, 1877, will be sold by public auction at the Provincial Government Buildings on the 29th day of April next, at noon.

£300 was realised by the Government at the sale on the 2nd March, 1875, for the year ending 31st March, 1876.

Terms and conditions of sale can be seen at the office of the Provincial Secretary.

CROMWELL BRIDGE.

FRESH TENDERS will be received at the office of the Secretary for Works until noon of Tuesday, 18th April, 1876, for Contract No. 1104, ironwork repairs to Cromwell Bridge.

Plans and specifications may be seen and forms of tender obtained at the office of the Provincial Engineer, Dunedin, and at the District Engineer’s office, Cromwell.

Tenders to be endorsed, "Tender for Contract No. 1104."

The Government does not undertake to accept the lowest or any tender.

MOUNT IDA WATER SUPPLY DISTRICT.

TENDERS will be received at the office of the Secretary for Works until noon of Tuesday, 18th April, for Contract No. 15, widening embankment of Coal Creek Reservoir, constructing gangway, &c.

Plans and specifications may be seen and forms of tender obtained at the office of the Provincial Engineer, Dunedin, and at the Police Camp, Naseby.

Tenders to be endorsed "Tender for Contract No. 15."

The Government does not undertake to accept the lowest or any tender.

HALF-WAY BUSH DISTRICT ROAD BOARD.

TENDERS, accompanied by 10 per cent. deposit, for the following Works will be received by the undersigned up to Thursday evening, April 20: Widening, etc., Hewitt’s; Embanking, etc., Campbell’s; Erecting Bridge at Rollinson’s. Plans and specifications at School House, Waikari.

NORTH TAIERI ROAD BOARD.

NOTICE is hereby given that the above Board intend to form a road line on part of Section 24, Irregular Block, Taieri, being Church Reserve; said road to be one hundred (100) links wide, and under the authority and powers vested in the Board, as per “Highway Boards Empowering Act,” together with the “Lands Consolidation Act.”

The plan of the above road can be seen by any person interested for 40 days from this date at the Schoolhouse, Mosgiel, between the hours of 10 a.m. till 4 p.m., and any persons affected by the above are required to state their objections, in writing, and forward to the Board within 40 days from this date; and the Board will meet to hear and decide upon objections (if any) on Monday, the 10th day of April, 1876, at 1 o’clock p.m.
