LAND ON DEFERRED PAYMENTS.

NOTICE is hereby given that the following applications for licenses to occupy land on deferred payments have been received at this office:—

BLOCK XIV, CROOKSTON.
Section 12. Robert Wilson Humphrey, John Cullen, John Argyle, and Newton Argyle.
Section 11. William Cullen and Newton Argyle, and John Argyle.

And Friday, the 21st day of April, 1876, at 11 o’clock, a.m., and the Land Office, Lawrence, are appointed the time and place for deciding the applications, which may be unopposed, and for notifying any objections which may be lodged.

Two o’clock p.m. of the same day, and the same place are appointed for deciding by auction the right to the same to occupy any section for which there may be more than one application.

LAND FOR SETTLEMENT.

MR. ROBERT SHORT, Land Office, Dunedin, has been appointed to supply information as to settlement on the land, whether by immediate purchase, deferred payments, or under agricultural leases.

Mr. Short will show maps of the land and assist purchasers or selectors in making the necessary applications.

LEASE OF TOLLS.

SATURDAY, 29TH APRIL, 1876.

THE Lease of the Waikari Toll Gate for the term commencing on the 1st May, 1876, and ending on the 31st March, 1877, will be sold by public auction at the Provincial Government Buildings on the 29th day of April next, at noon.

£300 was realised by the Government at the sale on the 2nd March, 1875, for the year ending 31st March, 1876.
