PENINSULA ROAD BOARD.

I HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that, at a Special
Meeting of the above-named Board, held on
Saturday, 4th December, it was resolved to borrow the
sum of £500 for the North-east Harbour Subdivision,
for the purpose of paying liabilities and carrying on
future works.

It was also resolved to borrow £350 for the Toma-
hawk Subdivision for the same purpose.

Ratepayers objecting to the raising of these loans
must send in written objections to the Clerk before 12
o’clock on Saturday, 8th January, 1876, when the
Board will hold a Special Meeting to consider the
same.

STRAYED, from near Mr. Trumble’s Station, Wai-
pahee, one Bay Mare, white hairs through body,
large star in forehead, shod all round, (light draught),
branded like circle O near shoulder, above 4 years
old.

The above reward will be paid to any person
returning the above mare to the undersigned, or to the
Oteria Hotel. Supposed to have crossed Mataura
river.

TWO POUNDS REWARD.

STRAYED from Dunedin, one light chesnut pony
mare, about 13 hands high, with blaze on face,
no visible brand. Last seen at Ida Valley, on the
Rock and Pillar road, on 15th November, 1875.

Anyone giving such information as will lead to her
recovery, or delivery at the Police Station, Clyde, or
to the undersigned, will receive the above reward.

ONE POUND REWARD.

LOST, one Bay COLT ; no visible brands ; strayed
from Forbury three weeks ago. Has four black
legs ; shoes on. Was in Samuel O’Kane’s paddock,
and was missed on the 31st of December. He was
seen in company at Forbury with a black horse,
branded XF near shoulder, white stripe down forehead.

Anybody giving information respecting the same to
Mr. Fisken, Macandrew Road, Forbury, will receive
the above reward.

LOST, about three weeks ago, a Brown MARE,
star on forehead, from Cross’s paddock, Wood-
haugh.
