EDUCATION MEETINGS.
NOTICE is hereby Given, that the annual Statutory Meeting of the Owners and Occupiers of Land and Householders in each Educational District, for the Election of a new School Committee, and for the other purposes specified by Ordinance, will be held on Monday, the 10th day of January, 1876, at 7 o'clock p.m., at the following-mentioned places respectively, viz.:—
At Dunedin in the Normal School, Moray Place.
At Tokomairo, in the Grammar School, Milton.
At Oamaru, in the Grammar School.
At Invercargill, in the Grammar School.
And in the respective School-houses or buildings, used as School-houses, in the following mentioned districts, viz.:—Port Chalmers, Portobello, North-East Harbor, Anderson's Bay, North-East Valley, Wakari, Kaikorai, Mornington, Caversham, Green Island, East Taieri, Saddle Hill, North Taieri, Lake Waipori, Waihola, Balclutha, Warepa, Kaihiku, Blueskin, Waikouaiti, Hampden, Otepopo, Oamaru, Lawrence, Queenstown, Waihola Gorge, West Taieri, Maungatua, Clyde, Alexandra, Naseby (Mt. Ida), Palmerston, Waitahuna, Port Molyneux, Pleasant River, Arrowtown, Cromwell, East Clutha, Waitepeka, Inch Clutha, Kaitangata, Switzers, Teviot, Waipori, Invercargill, Long Bush, Wallace-town, Campbelltown, Woodlands, Waianiwa, Flint's Bush, Myross Bush, Winton, Gummie's Bush, One Tree Point, Riverton, Waikivi, Outram, Kensington, Forbury, Mosgiel, Wairuna, Clinton, and Havelock.
The householders, in the following-mentioned localities respectively, in which schools have been established or authorised, are advised to meet in the school-house or buildings used as school-house, of their respective districts on the aforesaid Monday, the 12th day of January, 1875, at 7 o'clock p.m., for the purpose of electing School Committees for the ensuing year, viz.:—Moa Flat, Hamilton, Sowburn, St. Bathans, Blue Spur, Wetherstones, Otakia, Popotunoa, Taieri Beach, Awamoko, Macraes, Stoney Creek, Tapanui, Upper Harbor West, Lower Harbor, Whare Flat, Becks, Te Houka, Waiwera, Merton, Waiaeka, Mimihau, Hyde, Wangoloa, Lower Shotover, Moeraki, Macetown, Glenore, South Akatore, South Bridge, Cardrona, Kakanui, Sawyer's Bay, Highcliffe, Tuapeka Mouth, Thompson's (Drybread and Tinkers) Taturau, Taieri Ferry, Greytown, Tuakitoto, Albertown (Wanaka), Sandymount, Mount Cargill, Nokomai, Papakaio, Pukeuri, Kuri Bush, Adam's Flat, Shag Valley, Clarke's Flat, Upper Kyeburn, Lower Kyeburn, Inch Valley, Purakanui, Evan's Flat, Dunkeld (Beaumont), Walton, Manuka Creek, Forest Hill, Mabcl Bush, Grove Bush, Groper's Bush, Limestone Plains, Orepuki, Oreti, Wild Bush, Welshman's, Millar's Flat, Owake Flat, Clifton, Ahuriri Flat, Kingston, Kawarau Gorge, Bannockburn, Blackstone Hill, Marewhenua, Eden-dale, Mataura Bridge, Brighton, Beaconsfield Coast, Oteramika, Tuapeka Flat, Fortrose, Steward's Island, Ida Valley, Maheno, Roslin Bush, Waikaia, and Hill-end, Waikaka (in the house of Mr. Alexander M'Kinnon), and Greenvale (in the house of Mr. Hugh Begg).
