SOUTH MOLYNEUX ROAD BOARD.

NOTICE.—The Rates for the current year are now due. Ratepayers are requested to pay the same to me immediately.

BLUESKIN ROAD DISTRICT.

NOTICE.—The Road Rates for the year ending June 30, 1876, are now due and payable to me at my house, Purakanui.

For the convenience of ratepayers I will attend at the undermentioned places, from 12 noon till 2 p.m.:—
Schoolhouse, Blueskin, Friday, 17th December.
Mr Kettle's Store, Port Chalmers, Saturday, 18th Dec.

PENINSULA ROAD BOARD.

I HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that, at a Special Meeting of the above-named Board, held on Saturday, 4th December, it was resolved to borrow the sum of £500 for the North-East Harbour Subdivision, for the purpose of paying liabilities and carrying on future works.

It was also resolved to borrow £350 for the Tomahawk Subdivision for the same purpose.

Ratepayers objecting to the raising of these loans must send in written objections to the Clerk before 12 o'clock on Saturday, 8th January, 1876, when the Board will hold a Special Meeting to consider the same.

BLUESKIN ROAD BOARD.

TENDERS are invited for the following works:—
Formation of about 40 chains, Purakanui road; also, repairs on side roads. Mr Andrews will meet contractors at Purakanui Schoolhouse, at 1 p.m., on Thursday, 16th December, and show the work.
Formation of 30 chains road to Heyward's Point.
Contractors meeting at Mr Swanson's, at 3 p.m., 16th December, will be shown the work.
Formation in Mansford Township. Mr Lean will meet contractors at Fletcher's Slip, Carey's Bay, at 1 p.m., on Saturday, 18th December.

Tenders to be delivered at the Board's Office by noon of the 20th inst.

TENDERS invited for the formation of 11 chains, more or less, of Law's Road.
Also, Metal to be laid thereon.
Tenders to be opened at the Clerk's Office, in Mosgiel, on Saturday, 18th December, at 12 o'clock noon.

TAIERI ROAD BOARD.

TENDERS invited for Supply of metal (Bluestone) for 70 chains of road. Tenders to be lodged with the Clerk before noon on 1st January, 1876.

Specifications for the above can be seen on application to the Clerk.

The lowest or any tender not necessarily accepted.

SUPREME COURT.

NOTICE is hereby Given, that a Sitting of the Supreme Court for the despatch of Criminal and Civil business will be holden at the Supreme Court House, at Dunedin, on Monday, the 3rd day of January next, at the hour of Ten o'clock in the forenoon, at which time and place all persons bound by recognizances to appear as prosecutors, plaintiffs, defendants, or witnesses, are required to give their attendance.


TENDERS will be received at the Immigration Offices, Dunedin, Oamaru, Palmerston, Milton, Invercargill, and Riverton, until noon of Monday the 20th December, 1875, for the following services and supplies, viz.,—Rations, Extras, Drugs, Fuel, Cleaning Chimneys, Cleaning Cesspools, and Funerals, for Caversham, Oamaru, Palmerston, Milton, Invercargill, and Riverton Depôts for the year, 1876.

Forms of Tender, and all other information can be obtained at any of the offices named. The Government will not be bound to accept the lowest or any tender.

ENGROSSING, &c.

TENDERS will be received at the office of the Secretary for Land and Works, Dunedin, until noon of Wednesday, the 15th December, 1875, for engrossing Crown Grants during the year 1876, at per folio, and placing marginal plans on same, at per plan.

Every information will be given on application at the Crown Grant Office, Dunedin.


STRAYED from the Forbury about the 14th November, One Chesnut Draught Horse, star on forehead, blemish on fore fetlocks; also Dark Bay Horse, one hind foot white. Any person giving information of the whereabouts of the same to Martin and Watson, Stuart Street, will be rewarded.

LOST from Peninsula, a steel grey Mare, black points, branded JP joined on off shoulder. Last seen on Anderson's Bay Road, near Gas Works. Apply A. Hardie, Grocer, Rattray street.

IMPOUNDED, on the 17th day of November, 1875, by Mr John Douglas, of Waihola,
1 black horse, branded like VW on near shoulder, two white hind fetlocks, star on forehead

owner unknown, for trespassing on Run, for which £1 expenses are claimed; and in default of being released, the above horse will be sold at the Public Pound at Berwick, on Friday, the 10th day of December, 1875, at twelve o'clock noon.

owner unknown, for trespassing on growing crop at the Punch Bowl, for which 4s damages and £1 driving expenses are claimed; and in default of being released, the above horse will be sold at the public Pound at Hampden, on Friday, the 17th day of December, 1875, at 12 o'clock noon.
