TENDERS will be received at the Office of the
Secretary for Works until noon of Tuesday, 14th
December, for
Contract No. 1072.—Formation, Pitching, and
Metalling 21 chains of Road between Suther-
land's Hotel and Owake Landing.
Plans and specifications may be seen and forms of
tender obtained at the Office of the Provincial Engineer,
Dunedin, and at Sutherland's Catlins River Hotel.
Tenders to be indorsed "Tender for Contract, No. 1072."
The Government does not undertake to accept the
lowest or any tender.
TENDERS will be received at the Office of the Secre-
tary for Works, until noon of Tuesday, 14th Decem-
ber, for—
Contract No. 1082.—Gravelling 180 chains road, Tua-
peka to Teviot, in block I, Beaumont District.
Plans and specifications may be seen and forms of ten-
der obtained at the Office of the Provincial Engineer,
Dunedin, and at the Police Camp, Lawrence.
Tenders to be indorsed, "Tender for Contract No.
1082."
The Government does not undertake to accept the

TENDERS will be received at the Government Offices,
Dunedin, until noon of Tuesday, 14th December,
1875, for the following Services and Supplies for the Pro-
vincial Government of Otago, for the year 1876. The
Forage, Potato, Flour for Asylum, and Bread Contracts
may be terminated at half-year, by either party giving
a month's previous notice:—

Mixed Firewood: must be cut at least six months.
Tenderer to state the kinds of wood he will mix,
and about what quantities of he each will supply

Flour for Lunatic Asylum
Meat for Industrial School
Forage
Potatoes
Stationery
Timber
The names of the Sureties must be lodged with the
Tender, and it must be shown at the same time that the
Sureties consent.
Schedules for tendering may be had from the Govern-
ment Storekeeper after the 8th December.
Accounts to be rendered on the 25th of each month,
and all items against a Department to be put into one
account.
The Government will not be bound to accept any
tender.
