Shall, on being convicted thereof, be liable to pay a penalty not exceeding Five Pounds, to be recovered in a summary way.

  1. Also turning loose any horses or cattle upon any road, or allowing any animal to wander thereon, shall be liable to a penalty of not less than Two Shillings and Sixpence per head for each offence.

1 Yellow and White Bullock, cock horns, branded like O on near rump.

Owner unknown, for trespassing on English grass paddocks at Hill Grove, for which 4s. damages, and £1 driving expenses are claimed, and in default of being released, the above cattle will be sold at the Public Pound at Hampden, on Friday, the 3rd day of December, 1875, at twelve o'clock noon.

supposed to belong to Robert Grigor, for trespassing on the public streets, Balclutha; and in default of being released, the above horse will be sold at the public Pound at Balclutha, on Friday, the 3rd day of December, 1875, at 12 o'clock noon.

Owners unknown, for trespassing on public road (on the flat), and in default of being released the above horses will be sold at South Dunedin on the ninth day of December, 1875, at 12 o'clock noon.

IMPOUNDED on the 16th day of November, 1875, by Ranger Mount Stuart Road Board, Lovel's Flat,
1 Bay Horse, near hind foot white, branded A on neck,
1 Brown or Chesnut Mare, white stripe on face, off hind foot white, branded E near shoulder,

Owners unknown, for trespassing on District Roads, for which no damages are claimed, and in default of being released, the above Cattle will be sold at the Public Pound at Lovel's Flat, on Friday, the 17th day of December, 1875, at twelve o'clock noon.

Owner unknown. For trespassing on grass paddocks, for which 6s damages and 2s driving expenses are claimed, and in default of being released, the above gelding will be sold at the Public Pound at Hayes' Lake, on Friday, the tenth day of December, 1875, at twelve o'clock noon.

Owner unknown, for trespassing on grass paddock, at Palmerston, for which £2 are claimed, and in default of being released, the above horse will be sold at the Municipal Pound, at Palmerston, on Friday, the 10th day of December, 1875, at twelve o'clock noon.

Owners unknown, for trespassing on bounds of Invercargill, and in default of being released, the above cattle will be sold at the Public Pound, at Invercargill, on Friday, the 3rd day of December, 1875, at 12 o'clock noon.

IMPOUNDED on the 8th November, 1875, 1 Light Roan Mare, branded like T3 on the near shoulder, white star on the forehead, for trespassing on Union street, and in default of being released, the above mare will be sold on the 3rd December next, at 12 o'clock noon, at the Corporation Pound, Milton.

One Pound will be paid for such information as will ensure her recovery, or Two Pounds on delivery at Kuri Bush.
