FRESH TENDER FOR DISTRICT GAOLS.

TENDERS will be received at the office of the Secre-

(in stone or brick) at Naseby, Clyde, and Arrowtown.

GOVERNMENT LAND IN DUNEDIN FOR
SALE.

NOTICE is hereby given that the triangular piece of
land adjoining section 1, block LII., Dunedin,
containing 10.5 poles, with a frontage to Castle-street of
133.9 links, and to Willis-street 98.5 links, will be offered
for sale by auction by Mr James Milner, at the Provincial
Government Buildings, Dunedin, at noon on Wednes-
day, the 12th October next. Upset price, £540.

Terms: One-half the purchase money to be paid on
the fall of the hammer, and the balance by bill payable
on the 19th May 1876, bearing interest at eight per cent.
