LAND ON DEFERRED PAYMENTS.

NOTICE is hereby given that the following application for a license to occupy land on deferred payments has been received at this office:—
John F. Robertson, for section 5, block VIII, Crookston.
Monday the 4th day of October, 1875, at 2 o'clock p.m. at the Land Office, Lawrence, is the time and place appointed for deciding the applications that may be lodged.

LEASE OF SECTION 25, BLOCK XIV., NEW RIVER HUNDRED.

THE above reserve will be leased by auction at the Land Office, Invercargill, at noon, on Wednesday, 6th October. The lease will be subject to a right to take any portion that may be required for railway purposes. Lessee to fence railway line if necessary, and also clean the land of the thistles at present on it, and keep it clean during the term of the lease. Other conditions will be notified by the auctioneer at the time of sale.

NOTICE.

LAND FOR SETTLEMENT.

PERSONS desirous of selecting Land, either for immediate purchase or for occupation on deferred payments, or under the Agricultural Lease Regulations, will, on application to Mr. Robert Short, at the Land Office, Dunedin, be supplied with all the information they may require as to what land is open for sale or occupation, and the terms upon which it may be acquired.
Mr. Robert Short will shew maps of the land, and assist purchasers or selectors in making the necessary applications.

TENTH SCHEDULE.

District of Clyde, 8th September, 1875.
To the District Land Officer at Clyde.

I Hereby give notice that I intend to construct a Water Race for irrigation and domestic purposes, commencing at a point one mile from the south boundary of my pre-emptive right, and terminating on the said pre-emptive right.
The length of such race is one mile or thereabouts, and its intended course is north-west.
The mean depth and breadth of such race is eighteen inches by 100 feet, and it is capable of carrying one sluice head of water.

Any person objecting to the issue of a License to the above-named applicant, must lodge his objection in writing at my office within fourteen clear days from the date hereof.

MOA FLAT SCHOOL DISTRICT.

THE Owners and Occupiers of Land and Householders in the Districts of Moa Flat, Miller's Flat, and Ettrick, are invited to meet in the Schoolhouse on Friday, the 15th October, 1875, at half-past 7 o'clock p.m., for the purpose of electing a School Committee.
