WHEREAS the Provincial Council of Otago have,
under and by virtue of section 16, of "The South-
land Waste Lands Act, 1865," recommended that the
lands hereinafter described should be set apart as a re-
serve for a public Cemetery, and it is expedient that the
said lands should be so reserved for that purpose. Now,
therefore, I, George Turnbull, Deputy-Superintendent of
the Province of Otago, in pursuance and exercise of the
power and authority vested in me in this behalf, do here-
by publish and declare that I have made and dedicated
the lands hereinafter described a reserve for a public
Cemetery: (that is to say)—
All that area, in the Province of Otago, containing by
admeasurement four (4) acres, three (3) roods, twenty-

apart as Quarry Reserves.

WHEREAS the Provincial Council of Otago have,
under and by virtue of section 16 of the "South-
land Waste Lands Act, 1875," recommended that the
lands hereinafter described should be set apart as Quarry
Reserves; and it is expedient that the said lands should
be so reserved for that purpose: Now, therefore, I,
George Turnbull, Deputy-Superintendent of the Province
of Otago, in pursuance and exercise of the power and
authority vested in me in this behalf, do hereby publish
and declare that I have made and dedicated the lands
hereinafter described as Quarry Reserves, (that is to say)
All that parcel of land, being block XIV, in the Town
of Greenhills, south-west district of Otago, containing by
admeasurement five (5) acres more or less, bounded on
the south-west by block I, four hundred (400) links, and
stone reserve one hundred (100) links; on the north-west
by a line at right angles to the south-west boundary, one
thousand (1000) links; on the north-east by a line at
right angles to the north-west boundary, five hundred
(500) links; and on the south-east by Queen street, one
thousand (1000) links.

the Pomahaka River, on the Waikaka road.
