THE following Ordinances, passed by the Provin-
cial Council, and reserved by the Superinten-
dent of Otago for the signification of the Governor's
pleasure thereon, intituled,
"The Dunedin and Peninsula Railway Ordi-
nance, 1875;"
"The Kaitangata Railway Ordinance, 1875;"
"The Outram and Greytown Railway Ordi-
nance, 1875;" and
"The Clutha River Conservators Board Ordi-
nance, 1875."
having been laid before the Governor, His Excellency
has been pleased to withhold his assent from the
same.

TUESDAY, 28TH SEPTEMBER, 1875.
Run 413 divided into Runs 413 and 463, that isโRuns
413 and 463 Sunnyside Run, Waiau.
NOTICE is hereby given, that the leases for ten years,
of Runs 413, bounded towards the north by the
Monowai River, towards the south by the Monowai bush,
towards the east by the Waiau River, and towards the
west by the Monowai bush; and Run 463, bounded to-
wards the north-west by the Monowai bush, towards the
south by the Monowai River, and towards the east by the
Waiau River, containing respectively 7800 acres and 6200
acres respectively, will be offered for sale by public auc-
tion at the Land Office, Invercargill, on Tuesday, the 28th
day of September next, at noon, in terms of the "Otago
Waste Lands Act, 1872," at the upset price, or annual
rent of 1d. per acre. The bidder of the highest annual
rental in addition to the assessment payable under the
138th clause of the said act, shall be the purchaser. As-
sessment of three shillings and sixpence for every head of
great cattle, or seven pence for every head of small cattle
depastured on the Runs, will be charged, but the minimum
stock on which assessment will be charged shall not be
less than 3000 sheep on Run 413, and 2200 sheep on Run
463, respectively.
Leases to commence on the 26th day of July, 1876 and
expire on the 25th day of July 1886, or to determine
on 12 months' notice from the Commissioner of Crown
Lands to the Lessee to that effect, without
liability on the part of the Government or Waste
Lands Board for compensation for improve-
ments. The right to take a road 5 chains broad, for stock
travelling, is retained by Government. No previous
lessee, on purchasing the lease, to be entitled to exercise
a pre-emptive right to purchase land on Run. Improve-
ments, enhancing the value of the Run, made by lessee,
to be paid by the incoming tenant, before obtaining pos-
session. A deposit, of one-tenth of the purchase money,
shall be payable on the fall of the hammer, the balance
within a month. The annual assessment will be payable
on the 1st day of October of each year, excepting the
first period from the 26th July to the 1st October, 1876,
when the rent will be payable on the 26th day of July of
that year.

Runs Nos. 11 and 464.
NOTICE is hereby Given that the leases, for six years
and 3 months and 5 days of Run 11, situated in the
Otepopo Survey District, bounded on the north by the
middle branch of the Otepopo River, on the east
and south by south branch of same river, and pre-
emptive rights of 640 acres, on the west by a meri-
dional line produced through a point forty chains due
east of Trig L on Mount Fortune, and Run No. 464,
situated in the Otepopo Survey District, bounded on the
north by the north branch of the Otepopo River, on
the east by the purchased land in the VIII., Ote-
popo River, on the south by the middle branch of Ote-
popo River, and on the west by a meridional line pro-
duced through a point forty chains due east of Trig L, on
Mount Fortune, containing respectively 6,000 acres and
4,200 acres, will be offered for sale by public auction, at
the Land Office, Dunedin, on Tuesday, the 28th day of
September next at noon, in terms of "The Otago Waste
Lands Act 1872," at the upset price or rent of one penny
per acre. The bidder of the highest annual rental in
addition to the assessment payable under the 138th clause
of the said Act, shall be the purchaser. Assessment of
three shillings and sixpence for every head of great cattle,
or seven-pence for every head of small cattle, depastured
on the Runs, will be charged, but the block minimum stock on
which assessment will be charged, shall not be less than
2,400 sheep on Run 11, and 1,680 sheep on Run 464,
respectively.

minate on 12 months' notice from the Commissioner of
Crown Lands to the lessee to that effect, without liability
