TENDERS will be received at the office of the Secretary for Works until noon of Tuesday, 6th July, for Contract No. 1035—
Construction of Stone and Timber Bridge over Hogburn, at Naseby.
Plans and Specifications may be seen and forms of tender obtained at the Office of the Provincial Engineer, Dunedin, and at the District Engineer's Office, Naseby.
Tenders to be indorsed "Tender for Contract No. 1035."
The Government does not undertake to accept the lowest or any tender.
NOTICE TO ROAD BOARDS.
ATTENTION is requested to the Circular from this office, dated 31st May last, calling for a return of rates collected, general and special, distinguishing each, by Road Boards during the years ended 30th June, 1871-2-3 and 4, as well as all other receipts, if any, during the same period.
This return is urgently required by the Provincial Government.

SECTION 31, block XV., Invercargill Hundred, being the land between section 28 and the Waihopai Estuary, and containing 10 acres, more or less, will be sold by public auction at the land office, Invercargill, at noon on Monday, 19th July next.

LAND FOR SETTLEMENT.
PERSONS desirous of selecting Land, either for immediate purchase or for occupation on deferred payments, or under the Agricultural Lease Regulations, will, on application to Mr. Short, at the Land Office, Dunedin, be supplied with all the information they may require as to what land is open for sale or occupation, and the terms upon which it may be acquired.
Mr. Short will shew maps of the land, and assist purchasers or selectors in making the necessary applications.

NOTICE to applicants for unsurveyed land, under "Otago Waste Land Act 1872."—It is hereby notified to the Applicants whose names appear in the subjoined Schedule, that they have been declared to be the purchasers of the sections set opposite their names in the Schedule, at that the purchase money of these sections must be paid to the Receivers of Land Revenue in Dunedin and Invercargill, on or before Wednesday the 7th day of July, 1875, otherwise the applications will be deemed withdrawn, cancelled and void, and the deposit made at the time of lodging the application will be forfeited.

NOTICE is hereby given that block XVII., Waipahee Survey District will be open for application and sale on Friday, 23rd July, at 12 o'clock noon.

NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned sections will be open for application on deferred payments on the 6th day July, 1875. Application must be made by the applicant in person at any land office in the Province, and a deposit of 1s. 3d. per acre paid at the time of making the application, being the first half-year's occupation fee. The purchase money is payable at the rate of 2s. 6d. per acre per annum for ten years.
