PROCLAMATION

Determining certain Sites for Townships, under Section 19 of the "Southland Waste Lands Act, 1865,"

By His Honor James Macandrew, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Otago.

WHEREAS the Provincial Council of the Province of Otago have under and by virtue of Section 19 of the "Southland Waste Lands Act, 1865," recommended the lands described in the Schedule hereto as sites for Townships, as mentioned in the Schedule:

Now, therefore I, James Macandrew, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Otago, by virtue and in pursuance of the power and authority vested in me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare the sites mentioned in the Schedule hereto, to be determined as sites for Townships as mentioned in the Schedule.

SCHEDULE.

All that piece or parcel of land containing 600a., more or less, on run 166b, Takitimo District, bounded on the north by Waiau River and Taylor's Creek; on the north-east by section 40, 100 chains, more or less; on the south by a creek, and on the west by Waiau River.

All that piece or parcel of land containing 1000a., more or less, on run 176b, Takitimo District, bounded on the north by north boundary of district, 70 chains, more or less; on the east by a line at right angles to the north boundary, 95 chains, more or less; on the south-east by the Home Creek, and on the west Waiau River and Manawapouri Lake.

All that piece or parcel of land containing 100a., more or less, being section 101, Taringatura District, bounded on the north-east by section 103, 43 chains, more or less; on the south-east by sections 103 and 109, 46 chains, more or less; on the south-west by public road, 34 chains,

more or less, and again on the north-east by public road, 23 chains, more or less, and 25 chains, more or less.

All that piece or parcel of land containing 1077a., more or less, being section 407 in the Hokonui District, bounded on the north-east by section 321, 7350 links, more or less, and public road 197 links, more or less; on the south-east by section 351, 1998 links more or less; and again on the north-east by section 351, 2466 links, 1775 links, and 3061 links, more or less; on the south by sections 367 and 339, 18,205 links, more or less; and on the north-west by section 368, 11,667 links, more or less.

All that piece or parcel of land containing 1000a., more or less, being the Township of Gore, in the Hokonui District, bounded on the north by section 135, 9820 links, more or less, public road 208 links, more or less, and section 306, 1815 links, more or less; on the east by Mataura River; on the south by section 59, 2052 links, more or less, public road 210 links, more or less; and section 136, 3102 links, more or less; and on the west by sections, 58, 313, 137 and 135, 13,854 links, more or less.

All that piece or parcel of land containing 604a. 1r. 10p., more or less, being sections, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10, block XVI., Jacob's River Hundred, bounded on the north by Jacob's River, and part of south boundary of Oreti Hundred; on the east and north-east, by west and south west boundary of Oreti Hundred; on the south by section 11, 6057 links more or less, and public road 2300 links, more or less; and on the west and south-west by Jacob's River.

All that piece or parcel of land containing 1000a., more or less, being section 41, Waiau District, bounded on the north by Waiau River; on the east by Crown lands, 71 chains, more or less; on the south by sections 14, 5, 15, and Bush Reserve, 174 chains, more or less.
