6200 links from Trig. OI (a dot within the O), thence in a northwest direction through block IVA, thence through the said block and section 3A, thence 3100 links west of Trig. OG (a dot within the O), thence through part of section 5, thence along the Hedgehope stream for 11,300 links, and also through sections 6 and 9, thence by an irregular line along the south-west boundary of section 16, thence along the north boundary of sections 14 and 1, thence through an unnumbered block to the east boundary of block XVII, thence through block XVII, and along the south boundary of sections 19 and 27, all the said blocks and sections being situate in the Waimumu District, and thence in a south-west direction to the boundary of the said Waimumu Subdivision of the Lindhurst Road District aforesaid.

All the proposed line of road may be seen by all interested parties at the store of Messrs. M'Gibbon and Sons, Mataura Bridge.

All parties opposed to the opening of the above line of road are hereby required to set forth in writing—addressed to the Clerk of the Board, within forty days from publication in this Gazette—all objections which they may have to the proposed line of road.

HALF-WAY BUSH ROAD BOARD.

MEETING of Ratepayers entitled to vote in the subdivisions of Waikari and Flagstaff, will be held as below, for the nomination of members to serve in the place of R. Rossbotham, Esq., Waikari Subdivision, and John Campbell, junr., Esq., Flagstaff Subdivision, who retire by rotation.

Nomination at Waikari Schoolhouse, Monday, May 31st, at 12 noon.

Flagstaff,—Tuesday June 1st, at 12 noon.

In the event of more than one person being proposed for the said vacancies, the day of polling will be Thursday, June 10th, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

A MEETING of Ratepayers in the respective Subdivisions of the Portobello Road District entitled to vote at the ensuing election, will be held on Wednesday, the 2nd of June prox., at 12 o'clock, to nominate candidates for election, in the place of those retiring from office. TENDERS will be received until noon on Saturday the 5th June, for pitching and gravelling about 40 chains of the main District road, Maungatua. Specification on applying to the undersigned.

TENDERS are invited for forming 5 chains of No. 1 Road, Sawyer's Bay, and supplying, breaking, and spreading 55 cubic yards, of 3 in. road metal. The work will be pointed out to parties on Tuesday, the 8th June, at 1 p.m. Specifications at Mr. Menzies store, S.B. Tenders left at N.E. Valley Schoolhouse, on or before he 12th day of June, at 2 p.m.

TUTURAU ROAD BOARD.

FRESH Tenders will be received by the Chairman of the above Board until noon of Saturday, the 12th June, 1875, for formation, culvert, and gravelling, near Mr. Crombie's; also for sundry works on road which passes Tuturau School-house, where specifications for the whole of the work may be seen. The lowest or any tender not necessarily accepted.
