by the Provincial Government of Otago, to any person who will first give such information to the police
as will lead to the arrest and conviction of the person
or persons by whom the said fire was caused, and His
Excellency the Governor will be advised to grant a
free pardon to an accomplice, not being the person
who actually caused the fire, who will give such in-
formation as will lead to a like result.

INCENDIARISM.
£50 REWARD.
Maliciously Setting Fire to a Barn.
WHEREAS about 9 o'clock on the night of the
31st ultimo, a barn containing a chaff-cutter,
harness, and some chaff, situate at Winton Bush, the
property of William T. May, value £60, was disco-
vered on fire by which it was destroyed.
And whereas, at an inquest held on the 10th in-
stant, to enquire to the origin of the said fire, the
jury returned the following verdict:-"That some
person or persons unknown to the jury, feloniously,
willfully, and maliciously did set fire to a barn, the
property of William T. May, on the night of the 31st
March, 1875.
Notice is hereby given that a reward of £50 will
be paid by the Provincial Government of Otago to

TO ALL TO WHOM THESE PRESENTS SHALL COME,
GREETING:
Now know ye that I, George Augustus Constantine,
Marquis of Normanby, the Governor of New Zealand, in
pursuance of the power and authority in me vested by
the said Act, do hereby appoint the following place to be
a Polling Place for the Electoral District hereinafter
specified, for the election of Members of the House of
Representatives for the District of Caversham, namely:-
The Drill Shed, Green Island.
Given at Wellington, this

one thousand eight hundred and seventy-five.

And whereas by Warrant under the hand of the Go-
vernor, bearing date the 4th day of February, one
thousand eight hundred and seventy-one,
was appointed a polling place for the District of Kaikorai,
for the election of a Superintendent and Members of the
Provincial Council of Otago:
And whereas it is expedient to abolish the same:
Now know ye that I, George Augustus Constantine,
Marquis of Normanby, the Governor of New Zealand, in
pursuance of the power and authority in me vested by
the said Act, do hereby abolish the above-named Polling
Place for the District of Kaikorai, for the election of a
Superintendent and Members of the Provincial Council
of the Province of Otago.

LIMITS OF PORT OF DUNEDIN RE-DEFINED.
NORMANBY, Governor.
WHEREAS, on the 20th day of November, one
thousand eight hundred and sixty-eight, certain
limits were defined for the Port of Dunedin under "The
Marine Act, 1867;" and whereas it is expedient to re-
define the said limits: Now, therefore, I, George Augus-
tus Constantine, Marquis of Normanby, the Governor of
New Zealand, in pursuance of the power and authority
in me vested by the said Act, do hereby order that the
limite of the said Port of Dunedin shall extend to and
include all waters commonly known as the "Harbour of
Otago," and all waters comprised within a radius of three
miles seaward from Tairoa Head.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Most
Honorable George Augustus Constantine,
Marquis of Normanby, Earl of Mulgrave,
Viscount Normanby, and Baron Mulgrave of
Mulgrave, all in the County of York, in the
Peerage of the United Kingdom; and Baron
Mulgrave of New Ross, in the County of
Wexford, in the Peerage of Ireland; a Mem-
ber of Her Majesty's Most Honourable Privy
Council; Knight Commander of the Most Dis-
tinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint
George; Governor and Commander-in-Chief
in and over Her Majesty's Colony of New
Zealand and its Dependencies, and Vice-Ad-
miral of the same; at the Government House
at Wellington, this nineteenth day of April,
in the year of our Lord one thousand eight
hundred and seventy-five.
