PROCLAMATION.
Altering the boundaries of the Subdivisions of the Clutha Road District.
By His Honor James Macandrew, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Otago.
WHEREAS by the seventh section of the "Otago Roads Ordinance 1871 Amendment Ordinance 1874," it is provided that it shall be lawful for the Superintendent upon the recommendation of the Provincial Council, from time to time by Proclamation in the Gazette, to alter the boundaries of any District and to increase or diminish the area of any subdivision or subdivisions of any district, notwithstanding that any district or any subdivision or subdivisions of any district may already have been constituted by the "Otago Roads Ordinance 1871," or by any Proclamation thereunder. And whereas the Provincial Council has recommended the alteration of the boundaries of the Clutha Road District and its subdivisions.
Now, therefore, I, James Macandrew, Superintendent of the Province of Otago, do hereby, under and by virtue of the power and authority vested in me by the seventh section of the "Otago Roads Ordinance 1871 Amendment Ordinance 1874," proclaim and declare the boundaries of the Clutha Road District and its subdivisions to be altered as follows, that is to say:—
Clutha Road District.—Bounded towards the north by Main South Road to the Clutha River; towards the east by the said river; towards the south-east by the Waitapeka subdivision of the South Molyneux Road District and Puerua River to the West Clutha Hundred line; towards the south-west by the said Hundred line; towards the south-west by the Kaihiku Stream; towards the west by said stream, and blocks CIII, LXXXI, LXXXII, and part of LXXXIII, Clutha Survey District to Main South Road.
East Warepa Subdivision.—Bounded towards the north by the main south road; towards the east by the Clutha River; towards the south-east by the Waitapeka and Puerua subdivisions of the South Molyneux Road District; towards the south-west by part of section 12, block XXVIII Clutha Survey District; also by sections 38, 37, block I, Warepa Survey District; and towards the north-west by 2 of 11, 2 of 14, 1 of 14, and 1 of 15, of said block; thence by blocks XLIV, XLV, XLVI, and part of XLVII, Clutha Survey District, to the main south road.
West Warepa Subdivision.—Bounded towards the north by main south road; towards the east and north-east by East Warepa subdivision to the Puerua River; towards the south-east by said river to the West Clutha Hundred line; towards the south-west by said Hundred line through Trigs. J and G to the Kaihiku Stream; towards the west by said stream, and blocks CIII, LXXXI, LXXXII, and part of LXXXIII, Clutha Survey District to Main South Road.
Given under my hand and issued under the public seal of the Province of Otago at Dunedin, this eighteenth day of May, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-five.

WHEREAS by the 47th section of the Act of the General Assembly of New Zealand, intituled "The Otago Waste Lands Act, 1872," it is enacted that it shall be lawful for the Superintendent, with the advice and consent of the Provincial Council, to set apart in any part of the Province, districts or blocks of land within which licenses to occupy land and leases thereof on deferred payments may be granted either exclusively or within which the land
