NOTICE OF DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP

NOTICE is hereby given, that the partnership lately subsisting between us, the undersigned Robert Campbell, Robert Campbell the Younger and William Anderson Low, as sheep farmers, under the firm of “Campbell and Low,” was this day dissolved by mutual consent, so far as regards the said William Anderson Low, who retires from the concern. And that all debts due and owing to or by the said late firm will be received and paid by the said Robert Campbell and Robert Campbell the younger.

One red and white steer, branded like HR joined on near rump, off ear split—escaped out of the pound and re-captured on 26th—
Owner unknown, for trespassing on Deep Dell Run, for which the sum of 2s. is claimed for trespass; and in default of being released, the above steer will be sold at the public Pound at Macraes, on Friday, the 26th day of March, 1875, at twelve o’clock noon.

Officers appointed by the General and Provincial Governments and Municipal Corporations liable to pay Stamp Duties before entering on duties of Office.

Office of the Commissioner of Stamp Duties,
Wellington, 19th January, 1875.

THE Commissioner of Stamps desires to point out to Heads of Departments in the General and Provincial Governments, and also in Municipal Corporations, that by section 12 of “The Stamp Duties Act Amendment Act, 1871,” it is provided that every person, before he shall enter on the duties of his office or employment, is required to pay the proper duty in respect thereof to the Commissioner; and no Warrant or Letter of Appointment shall be issued or granted by the Responsible Officer of the Department to which such office shall be attached, or within whose control the same may be, until he has satisfied himself of the payment of such duty.
