A map of proposed deviation may be seen by all interested parties applying to Mr. Wilkinson, at the office of the Board, Clarendon Hotel, Invercargill. All parties affected by the proposed alteration of road are hereby required to set forth in writing, addressed to the Clerk of the Board, within forty days from this date, all objections which they may have to the proposed alteration.

NOTICE TO ROAD BOARDS.

The Invercargill, Lyndhurst, Roslyn, North Taieri, Glenledi, Balmoral, Hampden, Mornington, Clydevale, Kuri Bush, and South Molyneux Road Boards, are reminded that they have not yet furnished the Government with statements of the amount of rates proposed to be levied during the year ended 30th June, 1875, and they are requested to do so immediately, in order that the Government may be in a position to fix the amount of subsidy to be given to the various Boards throughout the Province.

BLUESKIN ROAD BOARD.

TENDERS are invited for the formation of 22 chains of Road near the Deborah Bay School House. Mr. Closs will show the work, plans, &c., on Monday, Feb. 22, at two o’clock. Tenders to be sent in by noon on 1st March.

RATEPAYERS who have not yet paid their rates for 1874-75 are requested to do so on or before Friday, 5th March next, at the Clerk’s office, Mosgiel; hours, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

NORTH EAST VALLEY ROAD BOARD.

TENDERS are invited to form and metal a deviation of the Signal Hill Road. Plan and specification can be seen at King’s Store, North-East Valley.

TENDERS are also invited to form about 80 chains, 16 feet wide, and remove the bush on about 50 chains, the width of 40 feet. The work will be pointed out by the Inspector on Thursday, the 11th March, at 9 a.m. Plan and specification at Upper Junction Hotel.

TENDERS are also invited to supply, break, and spread 500 yards 3-in. road metal, being 200 yards on section 12, and 300 yards on section 18, Pine Hill.

Parties tendering for the above works, can leave Tenders at the North-East Valley Schoolhouse, on or before the 13th March, at two p.m. The lowest or any tender not necessarily accepted by the Board.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Makarewa District Road Board propose to make a deviation of road at the township of Limchills, near section 16, block V., Winton Hundred. PENINSULA ROAD BOARD.

I. Tenders wanted for formation of road-line alongside Vauxhall Township, from Beach road to Anderson’s Bay road; also for completing road from Quarry Point to entrance to Vauxhall Township; also for metalling from said entrance to the top of the hill. Information supplied by W. H. Cutten, Esq., Chairman of Committee.

II. Applications invited from parties willing to act as Ranger for the separate subdivisions of the Peninsula Road District. Salary, £10 per annum for each subdivision. Engagement terminable at one month’s notice on either side.

III. Notice is hereby given to all parties affected thereby, that at a meeting of the Peninsula Road Board, held on the 6th February, 1875, it was resolved to levy a separate rate of Sixpence (6d.) in the Pound, net annual value on all rateable property bordering upon the Beach road, North East Harbor Subdivision, for the purpose of metalling Beach Road between Vauxhall and the property of Mr James Christie.

Objections will be heard at the General Meeting of the Board on Saturday, March 6th, 1875.
