Dues for any person selling, hawking, or offering for sale any articles in any street or public place outside any market established or authorised by the Town Council of Invercargill.

With cart, bag, barrow, basket, or box, per quarter, 5s.

And the onus of proof that any articles being delivered about the streets of the town have been previously ordered, and not being hawked, shall in each case rest with the vendor or party delivering said goods. Provided always that quarterly or annual licensees paid for as under to the Town Clerk, on behalf of the Town Council, shall entitle the license holder to vend or hawk commodities about the streets of the said city, subject to the several rules and regulations made, or from time to time to be made on that behalf.

Quarterly license fee for the sale of milk, 6s.

Annual license fee for the sale of milk, £1.

Annual license fee per cart, for the sale or hawking of any commodity, £1.

45th. Any person being the owner or tenant of any building abutting on any street where the footpath has been formed, who by omitting or neglecting to secure and maintain the foundation of such building, causes or allows the formed footpath to fall in, or be otherwise damaged.

46th. Drunkenness or disorderly conduct in any public street or place.

47th. Keeping or having in his following any dog not duly registered under any Ordinance for the time being in force for the registration of dogs.

NOTICE

Notice is hereby given that the partnership heretofore subsisting between us, the undersigned Thomas Andrew, jun., David Kirk Rhodes, and John Cowe Esther, under the style of “Andrew Rhodes and Co.,” as Woollen Importers, at Dunedin, has this day been dissolved by mutual consent: And that in future the business will be carried on by the said Thomas Andrew, jun., and John Cowe Esther, under the style of “Andrew and Esther,” who will pay and receive all debts owing and due to the late firm.

One bay mare, small star on forehead, branded with cross on near shoulder.
Owner unknown, for trespassing on grass paddocks at Moeraki Station; and in default of being released, the above mare will be sold at the public Pound at Hampden, on Friday, the 29th day of January, 1875, at twelve o’clock noon.

Supposed to belong to Mr. H. Nurse, of Riverton, for trespassing on the Hundred, for which five shillings each are claimed, and in default of being released, the above cattle will be sold at the public pound at Islabank, on Friday, the 22nd day of January, 1875, at twelve o’clock noon.

Owners unknown, for trespassing on growing crop at Papakaio, and in default of being released, the above horses will be sold at the public pound at Oamaru, on Friday, 29th day of January, at 12 o’clock noon.
