THE Suburban Road Board, at their meeting on Monday, the 7th instant, made a Rate of One Shilling in the £ on all rateable property within the District, for the year 1874-75. Objections to rate must be lodged with me on or before the 7th day of January, 1875. Ratepayers will be heard in support of their objections on Friday, the 15th January, 1875, at 2 o’clock p.m.

NORTH TAIERI ROAD BOARD.
NOTICE
THE North Taieri Road Board intend to levy a General Rate of One Shilling in the £ on all rateable property within the District for the year 1874—75. The Rate Book lies for inspection at the Schoolhouse, Mosgiel, for 30 days from date. Objection, if any, must be lodged with the Clerk, in writing, not later than the 30th day of January, 1875.
A special meeting of the Board will be held on the first Monday in February, at 6 p.m., to hear objections, if any.

APARIMA ROAD BOARD.
NOTICE
Notice is hereby given that the Aparima District Road Board propose to make a deviation of the road extending along the western boundary of section 36 Block XV, Jacob’s River Hundred. A map of the proposed deviation of road is deposited for the inspection of all parties interested, in the house of the clerk to the board, Flint’s Bush. All parties affected by the proposed deviation of road are hereby required to set forth in writing addressed to the Clerk to the Board, Flint’s Bush, within forty days from the publication of this notice in the Otago Provincial Government Gazette, all objections which they may have to the proposed deviation of road.

THE Lothian subdivision of the Oteramika Road Board intend levying a rate of Ninepence in the £ on all rateable property in the subdivision. The rate roll will be open for inspection at the house of Mr.

THE Palmerston District Road Board invite tenders for the erection of a Suspension Bridge across Shag River. Plan and specification may be seen at the office of the Board; and tenders lodged on or before noon, Wednesday, 21st January, 1875, addressed to the Chairman.
The Board does not undertake to accept the lowest or any tender.

TENDERS
TENDERS for Printing Forms and supply of Stationery to Provincial Government during 1875, are due at the Provincial Government Office, Dunedin, at noon on Tuesday, 5th January 1875.
TENDERS will be received until Thursday, 31st inst., for supplying and dispensing Medicines for Immigrants at Caversham Depot, for 12 months, from 1st January, 1875. For particulars apply at Immigration Office, Dunedin.

TENDERS will be received until 5 p.m. on Tuesday, January 5, 1875, for the erection of a new Schoolhouse, of two class rooms, at Havelock. Plans and specifications may be seen at the Bruce Herald office, Tokomairiro, and at Mr. Higgins’ store, Havelock. Tenders addressed to Secretary of School Committee, Waitahuna, and marked tender for school. The lowest or any tender not necessarily accepted.
