PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

IN conformity to the 29th section of the “Gold Fields Act 1866,” and to the Regulations made under that Act and the Gold Fields Acts Amendment Acts of 1867, 1868, and 1869, for the granting of leases, for gold mining purposes within the Province of Otago, it is hereby notified that it is intended to grant a lease for gold mining purposes of Crown Lands to the applicant specified in the annexed Schedule, unless there shall be valid objections against granting such lease.

Objections to the granting of such lease, stating the grounds of objections, must be made in writing and lodged with the Warden at Queenstown on or before the 8th day of January, 1875.

Copy of the application made, and plans annexed, may be seen at the Warden’s Office at Queenstown.

SCHEDULE.

M’Hattie and Millar on behalf of the Londonderry Gold Mining Company for 7 acres of land, more or less, as the same may be found after survey to be within the pegs and trenches of the applicants, situated at south side of Londonderry Creek, Upper Shotover.

TENDERS will be received at the Office of the Secretary for Works until noon of Tuesday, 20th December, 1874, for—

Contract No. 1013.—Formation, Pitching, and Gravelling of about 23 chains of road, Tuapeka to Teviot: also the erection of a stone and timber bridge.

Plans and specifications may be seen, and forms of tender obtained, at the Office of the Provincial Engineer, Dunedin, and at Police Camp, Lawrence.

Tenders to be indorsed “Tender for Contract No. 1013.”

The Government does not undertake to accept the lowest or any tender.

TENDERS will be received at the Office of the Secretary for Works, until noon of Tuesday 20th December, for—

Contract No. 1012.—Formation and metalling 33 chains of road near Henderson’s—Glenomaru to Catlin’s River.

Plans and Specifications may be seen and forms of tender obtained at the office of the Provincial Engineer, and at the Post Office, Port Molyneaux.

Tenders to be indorsed “Tender for Contract No. 1012.”

The Government does not undertake to accept the lowest or any tender.

SURVEYORS.

TENDERS will be received at the office of the Secretary for Lands until noon of Monday, 28th December, for—

Contract No. 90.—Survey of about 6,000 acres into sections of 200 acres each, in Lauder and Tiger Hill Districts.

Plans and specifications at the Survey Office, Dunedin.

NOTICE is hereby given that the following allotments in the undermentioned Townships will be offered for sale by public auction, on the dates and at places mentioned. For time and place of sale see previous advertisement:—
